Valentines Treat Box...

Need a great idea to hold those Valentine goodies? Pop on over to visit Holly from Toy's Haven . She does some amazing work. I cased these holders from her and must I say...It was fairly simple to assemble. As for the face of each box, well...I decided to be creative with all my scraps and put a few different ones together. These are what I came up with...(very little stamping done)

Here's my little goodie I have hidden within...Sweethearts... I initially intended to make these for our girls and their friends, but now that I have a few made up, hummmmmm...I think I will give these away to some of MY friends =)

As always...thank you for visiting and I look forward to hearing from you. Till then, be blessed!

A "RAK" Blessing to Share...

OMGosh...I can't even begin to express how blessed (and excited) we were upon receiving this special RAK. It wasn't only for me but, for our three girls as well. WOW!!! The envelope consisted of (2) pairs of beautifully handcrafted earrings (for me-lol) and (4) beautifully handcrafted bracelets (for my girls and I). We were all so thrilled upon receiving this in the mail but...when a second envelope arrived shortly after...oh my, I thought I wouldn't hear the end of it. Our girls were all excited. It was allllllll for them. Thank you to a very sweet and over generous stamping sister, Denise of Denise Loves Stamps. She is so full of surprises. Not only does she paper craft and stamp but...homemade jewelry!?! Beautiful, beautiful, beautiful. Hmmm...what else is she hiding up those sleeves of hers (lol)??? Stop by and check out her work. While there, give her a big blog hug.

Let me share with you the set I was blessed with. My first set of Homemade jewelry, ever =) I just love the quality and the bright cheerful colors...

These (3) sets of earrings and bracelets are for our girls. Different patterns and colors. Just beautiful...

Sportin' their new bracelets...

Showing off her new set, is our second daughter...

Sharing with us, another creative way to wear her (and one of her sister's) new earrings, is our first daughter...

The MOST CREATIVE way to wearing earrings is, on a non pierced ear, hanging from the top of your ear. Just like our youngest daughter has displayed for us...where'd she get this idea, I don't know but it was sure hilarious , especially coming from a four year old.

Thank you for stopping by and letting us share this blessing with you. Once again, be sure to pop in over and give Denise a big blog hug. Have a wonderful evening, what's left of it (lol). As always...be blessed.

SUINKWWC #24- Inspiration Challenge...

This next challenge I jumped in on was an Inspiration challenge from SUInk & More. Again I am a little late on this one. Praise God, this time, it's only by days (lol). I love these colors, so finding the right shades was not a problem.

I also love polka dots. As soon as I seen this photo with the green dots on the white sheet and the colorful ones on Mr. Bear, it caught me eye. Using SUInk's "Will You Be My Valentine" set, I then created this card. I paper pieced the little girl's dress but, I wonder how it ended up with only ONE polka dot!?! Hmmmm...(lol).

Card Details:
Stamps: Will You Be My Valentine (SUInk)
Paper: Stock Paper (unknown), DS paper (DCWV)
Ink: SU Markers, Black Versa Craft
Accessories: Ribbon, Circle Punch, Dimensionals, Embossing Powder, Hodgepodge Hardware

As always, I appreciate your visit. Have a very blessed day in the Lord.

SUINKWWC #23- Happy Valentines Treat

Aloha Friday everyone! The day is almost over, here in Hawaii. Before it ends, I just wanted to share a sweet post with you all. This is something I had created for SUInk & More WHACHADOIN' WEDNESDAY challenge, which we were to create a Valentine Treat Holder. Although I am about one week late for this challenge, I still wanted to play along. So here it is. This idea I totally CASED from Holly McMillen @ Toy's Haven. You must check out her site. Her work is fabulous. Sorry for the bright glare on the note card.

I created this matching 3x3 note card, a perfect fit for my treat holder. The black, gold, and vanilla card stock are from various companies. As for the DS paper, I selected this design for the special recipient I had in mind. The softness of this print, with the glittery effect, was just perfect for this special someone. This DS paper used was from one of the premium pads of DCWV. I then added a piece of fancy edged lace & pink satin ribbon. The itty bitty dew drop, prima flower and the All Natural Accents were all purchased from LittleC's Stamps n' Things. The stamped heart and sentiment are part of my Valentine set "Will You Be My Valentine" by SUInk & More.

For this treat box, instead of using your traditional Valentine treats, I chose to use a more familiar and elegant looking one. Not to mention, in my opinion, one of the yummiest. As for the measurements of the box and acetate top, I guessed and guessed and guessed. It's really just your basic box template with a slight difference in size between the base and top. Using the same DS paper as the box, I created a divider strip between the candies, also done by guessing. With all the guessing that went on in creating this, I believe I've now got it down...I GUESS!?!Card Details:
Stamps: Will You Be My Valentine (SUInk)
Paper: Stock Paper (various), DS paper (DCWV)
Ink: SU Markers, Black Versa Craft
Accessories: Ribbon, Gold Cord, Prima Flowers, Scallop Punch, Circle Punch, Dew Drop, Dimensionals

Thank you for stopping by, hope you enjoyed your visit and see you real soon. Till then be blessed!

More Blog Blessings...Awards...

OMGosh, a group of very special ladies were allllllllll thinking of me, allllllllll at the same time =) Thank you, thank you, thank you, thank you, thank you, thank you, & thank you (I can't say it enough), for awarding Heartful Stamping so many awards at one time.

These sisters all are so sweet and very much appreciated, not only for their gift in creating and inspiring me, but most importantly, for their friendship and sisterhood. Their blogs are a definite "Must Visit". Thank you so much!

First of all... the "Honest" award from Grace & Rleen

Secondly..."Fabulous" blog award from Jen

and, last but not least...the "Lovely" blog award from JulieNow...because of the first award received, I guess it's time to be HONEST (listing ten things about myself).

1). I love the Lord. As you probably know that by now.

2). I'm a very committed wife and mommy. This is only part of my legacy that I want to leave for my children.

3). My husband is a better cook than I. HE taught ME how to cook. (really)

4). I LOVE to clean my house. Especially on rainy days.

5). I LOVE, LOVE, LOVE the rain.

6). Although I started driving at the age of 16 and bought my first car at the age of 19, I didn't get my driver's license until I was 28. I was heavily influenced by my husband, or else...(lol).

7). I can talk your ears off =)

8). I love to travel by car, boat, and/or plane.

9). I'm not much of a book reader. The book MUST be really, really good if...I'm still reading it after the first page.

10.) I was never really good at following instructions. Especially if I'm sleepy and ready for LaLa land. So with that being said...because it would take me forevvvvvvvvvvvvver to list only certain individuals for these special awards, I have decided to bless alllllllll of my faithful readers. Yep, each one of you. You are all very much appreciated and I am very blessed to have you, as a part of me and Heartful Stamping. Please don't hesitate to take anyone (or all) of these special awards and post them to your blogs. If you don't have a blog, please know that I appreciate you even more and it's YOU! that keeps me going.

Be blessed and remember...Jesus loves you! Yep...YOU!!!

"Card 4 Kids" outreach...(pt.3)

Here is the last set of (5) Valentine cards I would like to share, created for the "Cards 4 Kids" outreach. Again, fairly simple cards with the children in mind.

Using the "Will You Be My Valentine" set, I stamped the (5) hearts with Black Versa Craft and embossed it with clear Embossing Powder then colored in with SU Markers. I inked all edges, added the ribbon, a dimensional, circle nesties, circle punch, and a sentiment and...ta daa...all done. See how simple. Again...for the kids =)

I kinda had a challenge to get ALL of the ribbons from each card to face the same direction. It was one of those ribbon days. Do you ever have those!?! Oh well...(lol)

Thanks for taking this journey with me during these last few days, as I shared with you, cards created especially for a bunch of precious children. If "Card 4 Kids" is a challenge you would like to take part in, please pop on over to Pat's for more info. Be a blessing to a child today~ God Bless!

"Cards 4 Kids" outreach...(pt.2)

Back again to share with you a second set (set of 5) of Valentine cards created just for the "Cards 4 Kids" outreach (challenge), using one of the newest Valentine sets released by SUInk & More. As you can tell, although I have other sets, this set "Will You Be My Valentine" just seems to be fun and easy to work with.

I stamped the first images of the envelope, hearts, and mailbox on the inner part of the card. Embossed it with black versa craft and embossing powder then colored in with SU markers. The same process were followed for the strip of hearts and "Kiss" sentiment. Next I then punched out (3) square windows to make viewing of the inner card visible and finally embossed the face of the card with CB embossing "Dots" folder. Sorry we didn't take a photo of the inside but the inner sentiment reads..."Happy Valentines Day".

Card Details:
Stamps: Will You Be My Valentine (SUInk)
Paper: Stock Paper (SU)
Ink: SU Markers, Black Versa Craft
Accessories: Embossing Powder, CB Embossing Folder, 1 3/8" Square Punch (SU)

Thank you for stopping by, hope you enjoyed your visit and see you real soon. Till then be blessed!

"Cards 4 Kids" challenge...(pt.1)

As much as we can title it a "Challenge", my heart says "OUTREACH". Cause that's exactly what it's all about. Pat from The Rubber Maid has an amazing spirit and a gigantic heart. She has an "Outreach" going on and is making a call out to we stampers. Pay her a visit to find out how you can help.

Well of course I jumped in and this is the first set (set of 10) I came up with. Because it was for the children, I tried to keep it simple. Once again using my new stamp set "Will You Be My Valentine" by SUInk & More, various bright colored stock pieces, "Heart" CB embossing folder, and my SU markers, I went to work.

Because it was a fairly simple simple layout, whipping out a total of ten, was really quick.
Please be sure to come back and check out the next two sets, also completed for this outreach. Till then, thanks for checking in and have a blessed day in the Lord!

SUINKWWC22- Love is in the Air...Sweetheart!

Happy Wednesday all...today is Whachadoin' Wednesday challenge for Storage Units, Ink & More using, one of their newest sets just released... "Will You Be My Valentine". The challenge is to create a "Love" (not necessarily "Valentine") card of any size, shape, or fold. Cannot however, be your standard 5 1/2 x 4 1/4. This is my take...

I decided to create this 6x6 "Sweetheart...Thinking of You" card with my DH in mind. Whether he actually receives it...well...I dunno (lol)!?! It just may end up with all of my other collection of "Special" cards made, with him in mind. If you know what I mean!?!

Using textured stock, colored stock, and DS paper, I stamped my image and sentiments with Black Versa Craft ink then embossed with Clear Embossing powder. Colored in with SU's markers and inked all edges with SU's ink pads. I then used the "Swirl" CB folder, added a ribbon, some dew drops, prima flowers, and brass eyelets. The sentiment..."Thinking of You" is not part of this set. This is the inside view of the pull out card. Sorry it's kind of hard to tell, the sentiment reads..."Love endures all things".Card Details:
Stamps: Will You Be My Valentine (SUInk), Sentiment (SU)
Paper: Stock paper (SU), DS Paper (TAC)
Ink: SU Markers, SU Ink pads, Black Versa Craft
Accessories: SU Hodgepodge set, Embossing Powder, CB Embossing Folder, Prima Flowers, Ribbon, Dew Drops

I appreciate you and your visit. Have a very wonderful day in the Lord.

Nestibilities were also used, prima flowers, and one single dew drop.

"Fashion" anyone???

Happy Monday all!!! Really quick, just want to share with you, one of my cards previously featured on and created for LittleC's Gallery. I loved this stamp set and had so much fun working with it. If only I owned it (lol). Let me explain...Jen of LittleC's hosted a workshop for the "Glama Gurlz" of LittleC's (which is another group of ladies, in addition to LittleC's Diva Designers), and at this workshop she laid out tons and tons and tons, and tons of supplies such as stamp sets (from all different kinds of companies), ribbons, brads, buttons, papers, dew drops, and the list goes on and on. You name it, she had it out (even food). She told us to create whatever we wanted, just go for it. And so we did! Do you know anyone as generous as that!?! I was drooling (hee, hee). Anyway this Pink Cat Studio's "Fashion" stamp set that I used to create this card, belonged to non other but Jen.

To create this, I inked the edges of the silk white flower, the lil' flower is of All Natural Accents, and used brads within the button, for the middle of the flowers. Upon completion of coloring, the dress looked so velvety IRL (in real life). I loved the ribbon and DP which was found in her scrap boxes. There is also a lil' glimmer brad that I used for the dress' belt.

Card Details:
Stamps: Pink Cat Studio "Fashion"
Paper: DS and Stock paper (unknown)
Ink: SU Markers and SU Ink pads
Accessories: Ribbon, Flowers, Buttons, Brads, Dimensionals

Hope you enjoyed your visit today and thank you for stopping by!

Love n' Hugs...

Good evening everyone and..goodnight (lol). My, my, my...it's been a busy but fun day today and I'm ready to hit the pillows. But not until I share with you ONE of my latest cards, visit some of your blogs, and grab a midnight snack (yummy).

You know, I don't know what's going on but in our home, there's lotssssssssssssssss of love in the air (lol). My DH has been taking us out to eat lately. Let's see... we went the day before New Years, New Years Eve, New Years day, AND the day after New Years. Today he BBQ'd for us, not to mention. Hmmmmmmm...either he got a big gigantic raise, wants NEW camera equipment, or...just wants to free up more time for me, so that I can stamp, stamp, stamp! Whatever it may be, I'm happy. Speaking of "Love", I've been playing with my new stamp set "Will You Be My Valentine" from SUInk & More and created (and still creating) lots of Valentine cards for the Cards 4 Kids challenge. Can't wait to finish and share them all with you. Most importantly...can't wait till it reaches the children. This next card is one that I created for a "Special" someone. It was created, also using my "Will You Be My Valentine" set. It's hard to tell by the photo but Dimensionals were placed behind the "Love" hearts, to give it the 3D effect.
Card Details:
Stamps: Will You Be My Valentine (SUInk)
Paper: Stock paper (SU), DS Paper ( DCWV)
Ink: SU Markers, SU Ink pads, Black Versa Craft
Accessories: SU Hodgepodge set, Embossing Powder, Ribbon, Dimensionals

In awe at what the Lord has done in my life, my marriage, my home, and in the hearts of our children. It's been a great, great year for our household. And yes, even with trials but...with trials (and God's grace), comes growth, strength, & endurance. To God be the glory!

Let's see...on this card I used a CB Embossing folder on the white strip. I then stamped the images with black Versa Craft and embossed it with clear embossing powder. Next I paper pieced the lil' girls skirt and lil' boy's shirt. I also used my Cricut machine to assist in cutting out the scalloped squares, I attached Prima Flowers and added stickles to the little hearts.Dimensionals were used behind the boy and girl and as you can see, gem stones were placed in the center of the flowers.Stamps: (SUInk&More) Will You Be My Valentine
Paper: (SU) White & Red Card stock, (DCWV Paper Stack) DS paper
Ink: (SU) Markers, Black Versa Craft
Accessories: CB Embossing Folder, Cricut, Gem stones, Stickles, Dimensionals, Clear Embossing Powder, Prima Flowers
