Stamp n' Scrap Hawaii's Color Challenge...

Good morning and happy "Aloha" Friday! Another "challenge" is going on at SSH. For more details, be sure to pop on over and check it out. To give you a little hint, it's all about "Color". I love, love, love the color purple and...that is why I chose to use it for this week's challenge. Here is a card created using "Santa Brigitta" from CC Designs. Again, one of several new images, just recently arrived at Little C's.

On Brigitta's outfit, a combination of Fun Flock and Puffy Paint were used to add some dimension. I also added some purple stickles to her wings but, in all honestly...it really didn't turn out, the way I expected. So...there will not be any close up shots (lol). As for the coloring, SU markers were used.

Hope you'll join on in, on this week's challenge. Till then, thank you for stopping in and have a very blessed weekend. Aloha and God bless~

Merry Christmas...from CC Designs "Nora"

Good morning all and hope your Thursday is off to a great start. Here I have for you, a Christmas greeting from CC Designs "Nora in Winter Coat". She's one of several new images, recently arrived at Little C's.

As you can slightly see, stickles were added to the tiny snowflakes, giving it a little glitz. For a fuzzy look, "Fun Flock" was used on Nora's coat, boots, and scarf. The holiday flower, along with the primas, are items also available at Little C's. IRL, the holiday flower is so pretty. If only I'd gotten a better photo shot.
As always, I appreciate your visit. Thank you so much for stopping in. Have a wonderful day...Aloha and God bless~

Never Forget...Pearl Harbor!

Aloha all! Today, 68 years ago, was the day of America's entrance into WWII. I cannot express how much gratitude I have, for the great sacrifices given (by military and civilians), during that time. I cannot express how much gratitude I have for those whom continue to fight for our great country and, for the "freedom" that did not come cheap. Thank you to allllllllll of our veterans (past, present, & future)!

Here is a card that I just recently finished and posted on SSH. I was definitely feeling patriotic and what better time to share it than on a day that we honor, here in Hawaii...Dec. 7 Pearl Harbor.
The image used is from The Greeting Farm's set..."Rain, Snow, Shine", which was purchased from Little C's. In addition, the embellishments used, such as the DS ribbons, prima flowers, and buttons, are other items that may also be purchased from Little C's.
Be sure to pop on over to Little C's to start your early Christmas shopping. Jen's got some new arrivals, that are sure not to last. Cute, cute stamps from CC Designs. Gotta have those stamps!

Thank you for stopping by and blessing me with your visit. Have a very blessed day and Aloha~

Stamp n' Scrap Hawaii's Challenge...Animals, Animals, Animals!

It's Aloha Friday and you know what that means!?! It's challenge time over at SSH and this time it's all about them cute animals. For this week's challenge, I chose to use Whiff of Joy's "Henry Mouse w/ Large Teacup n' Marshmallow". He is just too cute and at Little C's, they carry several different images of Henry Mouse. Lots of great choices to select from. If you haven't done so by now, pop on over and pay Jen a visit. She would love it!

On this card, it was all about coloring and layering. Nothing too difficult, just fun.
Be sure to check out what the rest of SSH's DT has done with the animals of their choice.
Hope you will join us and we look forward to seeing your entry into this week's challenge. Till then...May you have a safe and blessed weekend in Jesus! Aloha and God bless~

The Greeting Farm Edward...

Hope you all are having a wonderful Thursday. I have so much to catch up with in blogging, so many emails to respond to and...behind in lots of postings. I need to be better at this (lol). Thank you to those who have been so faithful and encouraging. You are truly the greatest!

Here is a card I created with much simplicity. I couldn't decide on the finishing touches nor the type of card I actually wanted to make. So I left plenty of space to add on, at a later date.

This image of Edward from The Greeting Farm was actually given to me as an image swap however, if you're in need of some great stamps from The Greeting Farm, check out what Little C's has available. Very cool stuff. Edward was colored, using SU markers. DS paper, ribbon and dew drops are items that can also be purchased at Little C's.

Thank you so much for stopping by. As always, I appreciate you. Aloha and God bless!

Stamp n' Scrap Hawaii's Featured "Aloha" Blogger

A big congratulations to Kyoko, for being SSH's Featured "Aloha" Blogger of the week. As I visit Kyoko's blog "Cards and Tags Mania", I cannot help but smile. She is so funny and it never fails to amaze me of how entertained I feel, while visiting her. It does not surprise me as to "why" her blog is full of RAKS both sent and received. As I would say...very loved and "blessed".

I was inspired as I came across Kyoko's Post-It Note Holders and decided to make one for someone whom is very close to my family. Because I decorated the front of the acrylic holder, I decided to use a solid color in the background. Omgosh the white crinkled paper is really gorgeous. Believe it or not, it is totally "handmade" paper. As natural, as paper can get.

The paper, the green fern leaves, the green squares with the white hearts, the orange flowers, the crimped tan paper, and the twine...ALL NATURAL! They are all part of the "All Natural Accents" line, which Little C's is very big on stocking. The only embellishment on this frame that is not natural, is the large prima flower.

This was actually a fun and quick project to put together. The hardest part, I would have to say, was the layout. That goes to show, how easy it was.

Well as always, I appreciate you stopping in. Have a very blessed day and Mahalo!

Stamp n' Scrap Hawaii's Challenge #6...Dew Drops

Hope you all are enjoying your weekend, so far. This week, SSH has a new challenge going on for you. Please be sure to pop on over and check out the complete details. There is some nice goodies just waitin', for a winner. Part of the challenge is to create, using dew drops. As you can see, I decided to create using red and green glass dew drops. Perfect for the strawberry DSP.

It was raining dew drops on this card and on the paper crafted ice cream cone as well. For this challenge I used one of Little C's newest items in stock, CC Designs "Sweet Kiki". It's kinda hard to tell but the ice cream cone Sweet Kiki is holding, is covered with stickles.

Here's a couple more ice cream cones that I created as a RAK, for some of the Glama Gurlz, at last month's gathering. I know...it's so sad that it took this loooooooong to post. The original cones were embellished with either pink brads or pink pearls. The latest cone (shown above), sportin' the pink dew drops, was actually created to fit in with my card theme and dew drop challenge. I was very pleased with how cute these cones (filled with mini candy bars) turned out. Though I must be honest, it was not my brilliance, intellectual thinking. The idea was cased and the template can be found by clicking here.

Thank you for stopping by. Have a wonderful weekend and much blessings to YOU! Aloha...

Stamp n' Scrap Hawaii's Featured "Aloha" Blogger...

Aloha all, hope your week is off to a fabulous start. Thank you for stopping in today as SSH celebrates Claudette of Islander Girl Stampin'...Congratulations to YOU for being this week's FAB!

This card I created, displays a layout I found and was inspired to use, while visiting "Islander Girl Stampin'". With this holiday season approaching, I pretty much knew the colors I was going to work with. I just needed a little help in deciding a layout and Claudette's blog is where I found it. Thank you Claudette! Here again, I used Autumn Trevor, one of Little C's newest stamp sets.
As with most of the images I use, coloring was done SU! markers.

This DSP is part of the "Fall Glitter Stack" by DCWV. Along with the glittery flowers, the sentiment too is part of this paper. I thought it was so pretty and just perfect. As you can slightly see from the first photo above, the inner part of the card was also completed. Sportin' a simple orange button. No sentiment was used, which is why there's no photo shot.

As always, you have blessed me with your visit today. Thank you for stopping in. Have a fabulous day. Aloha and God bless~

"Happy Harvest"...Autumn Trevor

Aloha all, hope you all are having a very blessed day in the Lord. One of my latest cards I share with you, displays the "Autumn Trevor" stamp from CC Designs. This stamp set along with many of their other cute designs, are available at Little C's. While there, be sure to check out ALL of Little C's new arrivals. Can't wait to get more Sarah Kays.

I love this color combo and lately, I find myself creating a lot, using it. The designer ribbon and buttons were also items I purchased from Little C's awhile ago. These items, with it's warm "Fallish" (is there such a word???) colors fits in just perfectly. As on all my creations, the coloring is done, using SU! markers.

Fall is one of the prettiest seasons of the year. Especially the color changing of the leaves and the crispiness in the air. Oh how I miss that, living in Hawaii. On my card, the glittery tree in the background is a DSP that I was kinda hoarding (lol), until the right moment came along. Guess this is THE moment (lol). As for the sentiment "Happy Harvest", it's computer generated.

The sentiment for the inner part of the card was again, computer generated.

Thank you for stopping by. Blessings to you all...Aloha and God bless!

Stamp n' Scrap Hawaii's Challenge #5...It's a Sketch!

Hello everyone, although I'm a little behind in posting our SSH's Challenge for the week, I hope you will still be blessed by what Jen has challenged us with and join in. Pop on over and check it out for yourself. The special winner will receive one of the Popcorn Bear stamp sets from Little C's!

Here is the sketch we were all challenged with....

I loved this week's sketch, it was a fun one to work with. Along with the sketch, the SSH's DT were also challenged to incorporate "Popcorn Bear" in our creation and here is what I came up with...
This adorable set is called "Christmas Hugs". It's a very versatile set which can be used not only during the Christmas holidays but for other occasions as well. The DS paper is from Three Bugs..."Oh What Fun" kit. Which can also be purchased at Little C's. To touch it up a little, stickles were added to the yellow duck and Popcorn Bear's paws.

Here's a look of the inside. The sentiment used is also part of this "Christmas Hugs" set.
Although the inside has a fairly simple finish to it, I'm pleased as to how the overall card turned out. Hope you will be not only inspired but, excited at having a chance to win one of these adorable sets for yourself. So hurry on up and...create, create, create!

Thank you for stopping in. Have a very blessed day in the Lord. Enjoy and Aloha!

Cow Emma Celebrates The "Harvest"...Milk Carton Treat

Aloha all! heading out the door but before I do, I'd like to share one of my latest with you. Here's one of Little C's newest stamps from CC Designs. Another cute image, the cutest, I think. Meet "Cow Emma", what a perfect way to show her off, then on a milk carton (lol), don't ya think!?!
This time of the year while many are off gettin' ready for Halloween, our household is preparing for a time of "Harvesting". "Harvesting" in the sense of, sharing the gospel with any and all those coming around for a treat. Which is why I chose "celebrate the...Harvest" as my sentiment. This sentiment was computer generated. Praise the Lord for today's technology, huh!?! So quick and easy.
These shimmery circular flowers were punched out from a DS paper, found in my scrap pile. The light green pearls and designer ribbon are just some, of the many embellishments, Little C's carries.
Be sure to go and check out all the the new stamp sets that Little C's now have AND all the new ones, soon to arrive. While you're at it, hop on over to Stamp n' Scrap Hawaii to peek at what the other DT's have been doing with these new stamps.

As always, thank you for blessing me with your visit today. Have a wonderful evening. Aloha and God bless!

Stamp n' Scrap Hawaii's Featured "Aloha" Blogger...

Hope you all are having a wonderful Tuesday, today's posting goes to Stamp n' Scrap Hawaii's Featured "Aloha" Blogger, Joy of A Place To Be Me.

Before I share with you the project I've been inspired by Joy, to create, let me first share with you this wonderful RAK she had sent to me months and months ago, during my MIA days (sorry for the loooooooooooong delay Joy). I loved it and was so encouraged to create one myself.
Although Joy is one sister that wears many hats, crafting is where she truly has a fine gift in. Pop over to her blog and you shall see what I mean. She can make everything and anything. She has, and will always be, such an inspiration to me. Thanks Joy!

This is what I came up with but...after really looking at it, I decided it was just too plain and will be dressing it up a wee bit more. Till then, this is the first take...
As you can tell, this envelope/folder is also a shaker box filled with a variety of pretty mini, mini beads. I lined the scalloped nestie with pink gem stones and the flowers are made of felt with more pink gem stones attached. Both the pretty gem stones and the beads can be purchased at LittleC's.
These are the actual images that Joy has blessed me with. I used them in my photo just to give you an idea of how well it fits. Nothing too fancy but very easy to make.
Thank you for stopping by today. As always...may you have a beautiful day in the Lord. Aloha and God bless!
