Christmas Stampin All Year Long...Challenge #4

Happy Presidents Day everyone! Wow Monday is already here and so is another round of CSAYL's challenge. This is the sketch Maria challenged us with. But...along with this sketch she added a little twist to it. At the request of CSAYL's readers, a snowman image was to be included into our design. Great!!! We love snowmen. So the blog team went to work and wah la!!! It was done. Check out all their fabulous work here. Hope you will be inspired and play along with us.

The first thing I thought of when it came to snowmen were, of course, snowflakes. So here I went again, with my cricut, to create that huge gigantic (chipboard) snowflake. I got a kick out of it, the size and all (lol). IRL, it is very pretty with that glittered effect. I dunno...do real snowflakes ever get that huge? We island girls, really don't know, hmmmmmmm...and...being from Southern Cali, the only snow I've ever experienced were in the mountains, already fallen. So...hmmm...

I love this snowman stamp. It's part of SU!'s "Holiday Woodcuts" set. And the sentiment is part of the "Flaky Friends" set, also from SU!

Card Details:
Stamps: snowman & sentiment (SU!)
Paper: CS & DP (SU!)
Ink: markers (SU!), versacraft blk ink
Accessories: cricut cartridge (Accent Essentials), glitter, ribbons, brads, embossing powder

Hope you enjoyed your visit today and as always, I appreciate you. Have a very blessed day with your family and remember...Jesus loves you!

hugs in Jesus~

Awesome, awesome card Rina! I absolutely love that snowflake and I love your take on the sketch. It's fun to see what everyone comes up with!! Your card turned out beautiful and I love that SU set. I haven't used it for such a long time. Actually, I don't even know where it is right now. I think I may just need to dig it up! Awesome job on this week's challenge. . .can't wait to see your card for next week!!

Oh, this is so, so fun and cute!!! I love the way you used that wood cuts image and the giant sparkly snowflake is unbelievable!!! Wow! So perfect. And of course snowflakes come that big! LOL! Maybe only in people's imaginations, but when there is 12 inches on the ground that is the size you think fell!

Smiles,
janna
