Happy Presidents Day everyone! Wow Monday is already here and so is another round of
CSAYL's challenge. This is the sketch
Maria challenged us with. But...along with this sketch she added a little twist to it. At the request of
CSAYL's readers, a snowman image was to be included into our design. Great!!! We love snowmen. So the blog team went to work and wah la!!! It was done. Check out all their fabulous work
here. Hope you will be inspired and play along with us.
The first thing I thought of when it came to snowmen were, of course, snowflakes. So here I went again, with my cricut, to create that huge gigantic (chipboard) snowflake. I got a kick out of it, the size and all (lol). IRL, it is very pretty with that glittered effect. I dunno...do real snowflakes ever get that huge? We island girls, really don't know, hmmmmmmm...and...being from Southern Cali, the only snow I've ever experienced were in the mountains, already fallen. So...hmmm...
I love this snowman stamp. It's part of SU!'s "Holiday Woodcuts" set. And the sentiment is part of the "Flaky Friends" set, also from SU!
Card Details:
Stamps: snowman & sentiment (SU!)
Paper: CS & DP (SU!)
Ink: markers (SU!), versacraft blk ink
Accessories: cricut cartridge (Accent Essentials), glitter, ribbons, brads, embossing powder
Hope you enjoyed your visit today and as always, I appreciate you. Have a very blessed day with your family and remember...Jesus loves you!
